Passionate about connecting collectors with great art, David Dee launched David Dee Fine Arts in 2014.  Formerly the director of the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, David saw an opportunity to bring curatorial knowledge to both first time buyers as well as experienced collectors.  

We acquire and sell primarily art of the American West, with an emphasis on early Utah artists; itinerant painters of the Rocky Mountains and the Southwest; and Regional Modernism. We have particular interest in the works of Maynard Dixon.

With academic and practical experience in the area of modern Japanese woodblock prints, David also acquires and sells outstanding examples of this remarkable art form.

Each work of art is carefully researched with regard to its art historical context, exhibition history, and artist biography.  We guarantee the authenticity of everything we sell.  We also provide art advisory services and highest quality assistance and referrals for appraisals, conservation, and framing.
